No One There Yet

Prompt: Looking down from a great wall
prompted by: Marianne, during Sketch Fest #34 (March, 2013)

[second attempt at uploading] Media: ballpoint and watercolor on sketch paper Before sketching: "I need to practice perspective!" During: "How do I do fabric in pale sun from above? What would a steampunkish jacket look like from here anyway? Given I want loose, not the usual precise stuff... " "Ooops, that ladder should've gone the other way." After: "I need to study fabrics too, huh."

Marianne says: Cool drawing, I really get the feeling the wall is tall! ~ Reply?

Kir Talmage replied to this: Oh yay! I thought later of adding "vertical" mortar lines but I'd not thought of it in time. :)

mikka says: Hello, vertigo! I like the dog on watch and the cat not. :) ~ Reply?

Kir Talmage replied to this: Um, sorry about vertigo? :) Glad the critters are clear enough. It's a really weird (for me) angle on a cat, and I don't have one to pose for me at the moment :P
