Erzibeth Bathoryby Coriander Shea
Little known fact: One of my guiltiest obsessions is with Erzibeth (Elizabeth) Bathory. I've had a morbid fascination with her since I first discovered her legend as a pre-teen.....yeah, I was a pretty morbid pre-teen. While others were chitchatting about the mall & boyfriends, I was reading Brian Lumley books and writing papers on Erzibeth Bathory & Vlad Tepes, lol. Heavily inspired by the portrait of Lucrezia Panciatchi by Agnolo Bronzino, circa 1540- one of the commonly used artworks to appropriate Erzibeth's appearance....with my own little twist...of course. >;d
Michelle M McNerlin says: I love this Cori!!!! I wish I'd had time to sketch more this weekend lol I actually wanted to do this one too ~ Reply?Coriander Shea replied to this: Are you coming to the next Sketchfest on the 26th? Remind me and I'll leave that prompt for you....just make sure to leave a Kitsune prompt for me in return! I'm obsessed with kitsunes and didn't get to do my monthly Kitsune sketch this time.....lol, I'm so OCD. ;)
Catherine Swinford says: Oh, this is quite different from you and very lovely! ~ Reply?Coriander Shea replied to this: Thank you Miss Catherine! I've always kind of been against drawing vampires, but I thought what the hell....blood play is sexy and I could probably do a good job making them evil and hot.......speaking of different, I love your Painter work! If you need any tips shoot me a FB mssg. :)
