Asteria Nyx by Coriander Shea

Asteria Nyx
by Coriander Shea

Prompt: Black Calla Lilly
prompted by: Sarah Alden, during Sketch Fest #33 (February, 2013)

This piece depicts the dark Mother Goddess energy of the solar system, well she is the solar system- the firmament that holds all the planets in place. I haven't happened upon her mythological name yet (if there even is one), but I was calling her Asteria. Well, that didn't feel quite right so I have decided to call her Asteria Nyx for now. She is too precious to me to not have a name, so I gave her one. *~>^.^
