Shining Lights by Jenny Heidewald

Shining Lights
by Jenny Heidewald

Prompt: Shining lights
prompted by: Maigan Lynn, during Sketch Fest #28 (September, 2012)

2015 update: I will be offering limited edition hand colored prints of this now, since I have worked with the LE technique for a few years now I have a better idea of how to reproduce it. I ended up with two, the snow shading doesn't really show because it was so light. Supposed to be an arctic fox, but looks pretty catlike. I need more practice! Micron pen and watercolors on 2.5 x 3.5" Arches Rough 300# watercolor paper. I am keeping this for my personal collection. No reprints at this time, since I don't think I can reproduce this. >_< Ask me in two weeks. *haha* :) Check out my Facebook page for my art.

Maigan Lynn says: It looks pretty foxy to me! Very cute Jenny! :) ~ Reply?

Jenny Heidewald replied to this: Thank you, Maigan! I sometimes have a hard time looking at my art objectively, so it's great to have a second opinion.:)

Yvonne Smith says: Love the way you paint aurora ;0) ~ Reply?

Jenny Heidewald replied to this: Thanks, Yvonne! I was afraid it wouldn't read as "aurora", I have several practice sheets I did before this. :)
