Lion

Prompt: your favorite animal
prompted by: Evelyn Henderson, during Sketch Fest #25 (June, 2012)

So I didn't get this one finished. Just kind of a quick sketch really. I have had this image in the back of mind for some time and when I saw this prompt by Evelyn, I just had to go for it. The lion and bear are two of my favorite animals. Both represent, symbolically, a lot to me. I decided to do the lion first. This piece will be done in color pencil. The background will be clouds and stars kind of a twilight blue sky.
