Persephone by Rob Carlos

by Rob Carlos

Prompt: Persephone
prompted by: Selina Fenech, during Sketch Fest #24 (February, 2012)

OK - this one took me the whole hour, it took that long just to get happy with the face. The rest, well, I always thought Persephone had apretty dark side.

Winterfuchs (formerly Teylen) says: Amazingly detailed picture. Had to read up on Persphone. Here she appears like a stronger character than what some of her background on wikipedia suggests but I guess this version actually explains a lot. :) ~ Reply?

Rob Carlos replied to this: Thanks, Patrick - I admit I did look at Wikipedia, but I figure she's the collector of cursed souls, so not a simple young lady.

Selina Fenech says: Fantastic! Love this interpretation, and yeah, Persephone had to be a bit of a bad ass to be in the situation she was. ~ Reply?

Rob Carlos replied to this: Thank you, Selina! Coming from you, I'll take that as quite a compliment!

Sally Gilroy says: Love the detail and the attitude :)Awesome! ~ Reply?

Miss Megs says: Just gorgeous. I love your costuming! ~ Reply?

Kate says: Beautiful! ~ Reply?

Micah Carmichael says: Rob, this is amazing;) ~ Reply?

Sue Rundle-Hughes says: Gorgeous and so much detail. Love her face :) ~ Reply?
