Feathered Serpentby Sunni Smith
I have to admit I almost feel bad posting this. It's utter crap. XD I can't begin to describe how horribly I struggled with this. By the time I hit 50 minutes I just gave up. I couldn't seem to get anything right. It was supposed to be a serpentine human-like being with lots of feathers (i.e. the stuff on its arms and neck). Again, I end up biting off more than I can chew... Well... It looked cool in my head...
Hope Bryant says: It has a lot of potential. Maybe take some time later and mux about with it until you've "tamed" it. :) ~ Reply?Sunni Smith replied to this: Thanks for the kind words and advice. Makes me feel a little better. :)
Hope Bryant says: Of course! :) You challenged yourself and went outside of what you normally seem comfortable with, (from looking at your other sketches) that is commendable. :) ~ Reply?Sunni Smith replied to this: Thanks. :) This is the kind of stuff I'd like to draw and I won't get better without working my artistic muscles. So this is start. I'll definitely keep working on this.
Ellen Million says: Some sketches flow, some don't. I actually think this is a great idea and is worth revisiting! I'm glad you posted it. ~ Reply?Sunni Smith replied to this: Thanks! I'm definitely more motivated to come back to it now. :)
Alisha Christian says: I really do hope you continue with it. It is coming out fantastically! Seriously! ~ Reply?Sunni Smith replied to this: Really? Well, thanks! Maybe I will. :)
Sue Rundle-Hughes says: This is great! It's probably because you feel out of your comfort zone. I know the feeling when I draw certain things. :) ~ Reply?Sunni Smith replied to this: Yeah probably. Thanks much, I didn't think much of it at first. :)
