Racing the Storm by Jenny Heidewald

Racing the Storm
by Jenny Heidewald

Prompt: Racing the Storm
prompted by: Sylvia Heidewald, during Sketch Fest #66 (August, 2015)

This fat little guy popped into my head, doesn't look like he is racing as much as poking along. Blissfully unaware of the storm coming up behind! I was inspired by the art in the book "Voorloper" by Alicia Austin Micron pen 2.5 x 3.5" Bristol paper. My Facebook art page

Sylvia Heidewald says: Hee hee, he's cute. I like that contented smile he has and the way you made it feel like a storm coming with the wind streaks in the clouds. Looking forward to seeing it in watercolor. ~ Reply?

Jenny Heidewald replied to this: Thanks Mom! The clouds were what was inspired by "Voorloper". I love the older books with illustrations.

Erich Heidewald says: Just floating along on the breeze. :) I love the way you did the clouds. ~ Reply?

Jenny Heidewald replied to this: Thanks! Not too much racing here! :D
