Prompt: Abstracting the Meadow
prompted by: mikka, during Sketch Fest #65 (July, 2015)

wateroolor and ink on 5x7 greeting card. Every time I did something to try and make it more abstract, it became less so. In the end I embraced it and it is more modern/rustic than abstract. That's how it goes sometimes.

Sales are temporarily disabled while the site is upgraded. Estimated completion: March 2018!

mikka says: Neat! I read the flowers as tulips and daffodils and grape hyacinth, but that's heavily biased towards what shows up in yards in my neighborhood. :) I'm curious what they are for you. ~ Reply?

Amy Sue Stirland replied to this: Hahahaha! That's how they read to me as well, which I find very interesting.
