Knighting the Wood Duckby Kir Talmage
Crayola watercolor on smooth Canson sketchpaper. I know, I know! Thus the sketch! part. :) ... oh, and then photographed under bad fluorescent lighting and minimally adjusted in Photoshop. Could that be any worse?? Muses, I tell ya. I hope I can find time to do this on some real water color paper with somewhat better paints. It's about 6 x 6.5 inches I think. References are Vermont swamps and typical inhabitants. More or less.

Annie Delyth Stratton says: That's the beauty of sketching-- quick sketches often have a liveliness about them that drawings and paintings done over a longer period generally lack. I think the best way to build that liveliness in is to do lots and lots of sketches! This one is delightful. ~ Reply?Kir Talmage replied to this: Thanks!
