Treeful of Stars by Janet Chui

Treeful of Stars
by Janet Chui

Prompt: It's full of stars!
prompted by: Yvonne Smith, during Sketch Fest #27 (August, 2012)

This prompt was right under "Tea Tree" on the prompts page and that led to this idea. Thinking now of working on a painting of a forest full of stars! This sketch is watercolours on 8-inch-square Daler- Rowney Heavyweight (smooth) paper. Will clean up the lines and details (and sign) if purchased.

Hope Bryant says: Now that's pretty! It would make for a nice card or wall plaque I think. :) ~ Reply?

Mayumi Ogihara says: Soft and pretty! Lovely work!! ~ Reply?

Kir Talmage says: I love how these two interpretations of the prompt are so different! For this, I watch the color shift from night to twilight and my heart lifts with the desire to climb *this* tree, now, wherever each branch will go... ~ Reply?

Yvonne Smith says: Oh my! This is beautiful. Thank you so much for choosing my prompt xx ~ Reply?

Janet Chui replied to this: Thank YOU for the lovely prompts and for buying the painting! :)

Yvonne Smith says: Just had to have it, sold! Xxx ~ Reply?
