Blue Eyes by Ellen Million

Blue Eyes
by Ellen Million

Prompt: Blue Eyes
prompted by: Carol Moore, during Sketch Fest #25 (June, 2012)

Sketching this one went kind of like this: Sketch for 3 minutes, change a diaper. Sketch for 2 minutes, fix a kitchen disaster. Sketch for 1 minute, change another diaper. Sketch for 5 minutes, nurse a baby. Attempt to sketch WHILE nursing, and give up. Sketch for 30 seconds, change another diaper. I suspect I spent close to the whole hour on this one in tiny chunks, but honestly I'm not sure - isn't he a handsome fellow? 4x4, graphite and colored pencil on Arches hotpress.

Janet Chui says: Oh yes, I still work like that, but sans the diapers. (My kid has graduated to the potty.) Anyhoo, whut a hunk! He sure caught my eye in the thumbnails. ;) ~ Reply?

mikka says: Nice! Is he anyone in particular as of yet? ~ Reply?

Carol Moore says: Very nice looking! I love his expression. I am so glad my girls are grown and past that stage :D They grow up so fast. ~ Reply?

Jenny Heidewald says: Cool, is that a tooth on his necklace? ~ Reply?
