This is a finished version of a sketch!

Stoneware clay disks, a bit under 2" across and perhaps 1/16th" thick. I'm not terribly happy with the glazing, and will consider this a draft to try again later. The "one hug" disk is best, I think, with the lettering in blue and the whole in celadon. The "one minute" disk has black lettering and a clear glaze, too thin at the edges. The "one hour" disk has a green glaze in the lettering and a translucent amber glaze over it; the mix didn't pick out the lettering well -- the amber alone would have been clearer -- and the amber filled in the delicate points of the star (which I could perhaps have cleaned up more carefully). Given the tiny lettering, I might try colored slip backgrounds on these next time around, so that a dark glaze in the lettering plus a clear or nearly clear glaze over the top gives more overall color.
