Prompt: Tower Defense
prompted by: Erika Harm, during Sketch Fest #17 (August, 2011)

This is a finished version of a sketch!

Dark Rook Defense. Light stoneware clay, amber temoku. Rattle. It has relatively thick walls and a small interior space, so the rattle is a softer noise than some of my others.

     Michelle Goldberg replied to this: Thank you! It doesn't have a hole or a hanging loop, so to make it into jewelry it would either need to have a bail glued on to it, or be wire-wrapped, or something similar. It would be a chunky pendant, but not totally unwieldy. That said, I could make something similar with some means to suspend it, and possibly flatter or half round instead of full round. (My turn-around time on pottery is long, though.)
