Fairy Wedding Dress by Sue Rundle-Hughes

Fairy Wedding Dress
by Sue Rundle-Hughes

Prompt: A Fairy Wedding Dress
prompted by: ElmaBree, during Sketch Fest #16 (July, 2011)

I think the veil must be split at the back for her wings :D I didn't think of that when I was sketching it. If I paint it, I will rub out the veil.

Jen Lee says: That's beautiful Sue!! ~ Reply?

Sue Rundle-Hughes replied to this: Awww, thank you Jen :)

Alisha Christian says: I wish that I could draw like this. You are so talented! Her hair, face, dress, wings.. everything. You got it all just perfect. Truly beautiful. ~ Reply?

Sue Rundle-Hughes replied to this: Thank you so much Alisha, I really appreciate that :) x

Natacha Chohra says: Absolutely gorgeous. I am particularly taken by the detail of the sleeves and her wings :) she is beautiful x ~ Reply?

Sue Rundle-Hughes replied to this: Thank you so much Natacha xx. My favourite style of dress is from the Renaissance period, hence a lot of my fairy clothes have renaissance elements, like the sleeves :) Can you imagine painting with sleeves like that though? Lol, it would drag in the paint! Mine would anyway, because I'm mucky :)
