Tipsy

Prompt: Elf Beer
prompted by: ElmaBree, during Sketch Fest #15 (June, 2011)

Digital. Photoshop/Wacom Tablet. 50 Mins. I know... I took a little liberty with "elf." Couldn't help it.

Alisha Christian says: This is so cute! Amazing job. ~ Reply?

Chris Christian replied to this: Thank you, baby. Not that you're biased or anything :P

Janet Chui says: Love this one (and what you could do in 50 mins)!--though I think she could look more tipsy. ;) ~ Reply?

Chris Christian replied to this: I'll have to admit I did a pencil sketch like this years ago... and the prompt practically screamed for a redux. So I didn't start blank on this one (of course, you can see the rush factor in the wings as I made a mad dash to get them in at the end). I agree on the Tipsy - her eyes should have been more sleepy, and the smile more goofy... lol.

Carol Moore says: I love it! Fantastic work. Looks like she is really enjoying her beer :D ~ Reply?

Chris Christian replied to this: Beer -and- a bubble bath! How can she not? *laughs*

ElmaBree says: Excellent Chris, love what you did with the prompt! Now just don't drink the Elf!!! LOL ~ Reply?

Chris Christian replied to this: Thanks, Mary! Of course that gives me ideas for a follow up piece to fit prompts likem "How'd that get there?!" - faery legs poking out of someone's mouth >.

Plantie says: aaww so cute! gotta love wacom tablets ^^ ~ Reply?

Chris Christian replied to this: I generally use my tablet for doing 3D texture work... it was a lot of fun to use it for more 'traditional' art :)

Kim says: Looks like a great idea hehe ;) ~ Reply?

Chris Christian replied to this: Thanks, Kim!

ElmaBree says: @Chris, aahahaha, that is cool yet distrubing at the same time...lol ~ Reply?
