mikka says: Nice capture of the flower! ~ Reply?

Laura Macy replied to this: Thank you! I actually wanted to include a head-shot of Tiger Lily Hutchence (daughter of the late Michael Hutchence of INXS), but ran out of time. I intend to add her portrait to this piece later on. She's a lovely young lady :)

Ellen the Million says: Pretty! Very delicate and lovely. ~ Reply?

Laura Macy replied to this: Thank you so much, Ellen. Boy it makes a big difference when you have a really good reference! I usually can't draw anything but a daisy! I surprised myself with this one, LOL!

Laura Macy replied to this: Thank you, Alisha! I've never colored something so fast in my life! LOL! I was really trying to stick to the 30-minute sketch time.....just barely made it!

Selina Fenech says: Great work, so realistic. ~ Reply?

Laura Macy replied to this: Thank you, Selina :) That means a lot to me. I usually have a really hard time doing flowers (so I rarely do them), but it went surprisingly well today. It was a great exercise for me.

Kim says: Lovely work ~ Reply?

Noreen says: I love your soft feel, and yet you still have so much detail! Very, very lovely! ~ Reply?
