The City at the End of Things by Ellen Million

The City at the End of Things
by Ellen Million

Prompt: The City at the End of Things
prompted by: Laura Siadak, during Sketch Fest #15 (June, 2011)

This artist has posted at least one finished version of this piece!

The end of a journey? The end of the world? So many endings to choose from. This is acrylics on watercolor paper, 4 x 6 inches. Updated with scan!

Laura Siadak says: Oh dear, I'm not sure I'd want to be in that city seeing what's going on around it. Looks almost like it's sneaking in for an attack. ~ Reply?

Alisha Christian says: Definitely makes you wonder... Love the colors you chose. I don't think that city is going to last long though... eep! ~ Reply?

Edward Cammarota says: If you look at it from a positive side.... it is the end of the things, the city is pushing the things out and establishing order......or not :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) ~ Reply?

laura siadak replied to this: Google the title, it's a poem :)
Noreen Berlier replied to this: Ooh, thank you! I googled the poem, and it is filled with darkly rich inspiration. He must've had quite the nightmare when he wrote that.

Marianne Mathiasen says: Lovely colors! ~ Reply?
