 | Growing Shadowsby mikkaPrompt: dark side of the heart This is a finished version of a sketch!
The large heart is glazed in a clear glaze, which trapped some tiny bubbles during firing -- thus the fuzziness in some of the black section. The smaller heart is glazed in a translucent blue/green glaze, which either pulled some color from the black slip or is just much darker when thick than I expected -- it fills the carved lines and makes them nearly invisible. |
