Prompt: Dragon Shapeshifter
prompted by: Mayumi Ogihara, during Sketch Fest #72 (March, 2016)

Freehand ink sketch on 60lb paper, about 6" tall or do (paper is bigger). I am thinking that shape shifting is both difficult and perhaps intense. // Indoor iThing photo and I've probably had too much caffeine... sorry...

Kir Talmage replied to this: Thanks. It was one of those that I had to try myself to feel it... I can't quite do that with my knees and to the best of my knowledge, I'm not growing a tail... :)

Mayumi Ogihara says: Very fascinating sketch! It makes me wonder of her story. Thank you so much for using my prompt! ~ Reply?

Kir Talmage replied to this: Thank you for the prompt! I don't know the story -- is this intentional on her part? Something she often does? Struggles to do? Which way is she shifting? How big will her wings grow (or how big were they)? I only know that I feel it is stretchy and hard work and that always takes her somehow by surprise...
