Japan by Carole Graham

by Carole Graham

Prompt: Artwork for Japan - Help Japan they are in dire need
prompted by: Carol Moore, during Sketch Fest #12 (March, 2011 - one year!)

Buddha and Cherry Blossom. The beauty of the cherry blossom is very short-lived and symbolizes the impermanence of all things. Everything changes. Nothing is permanent. In due course pain will fade and lives will be rebuilt. The Buddha symbolizes compassion for all living things, both human and animal. This is for sale for $10 in aid of Red Cross Japan Appeal (or similar of your choice)
