 | Dragon Love Goddess Figurineby Hope BryantPrompt: Goddess of Love This is a finished version of a sketch!
Medium: Watercolor, colored pencils (pencil crayons), ink on Strathmore ATC-cut vellum bristol. Red sandstone was choosen for the main body of the figure, as it has some widely-held religious love symbolism. It is also seen as a form of "Earth's Blood", of life's blood in stone. This is inspired by three things, the prompt of course, neolithic godess-figurines, and dragons! ACEO's, mugs, small prints available at DevArt. Original ATC, not yet for sale (I have to make sure it flattens out more). |

Hope Bryant says: Thank you. I was very happy with how this came out, especially because I am very leery of "finishing things" due to my lack of confidence in my color-skills. Sadly I need new inking pens. :( My poor Micron kept getting gummed up with the color pencil in the final over-inks. ~ Reply?
