Prompt: AT LAST, SIR TERRY, WE MUST WALK TOGETHER. Terry took Death's arm and followed him through the doors and on to the black desert under the endless night. The End. - Rhianna Pratchett's Twitter announcement of her father's passing
prompted by: Jenny Heidewald, during Sketch Fest #61 (March, 2015)

Sir Terry Pratchett, author of the famous Discworld series passed away 3/12/2015 after a long battle with a rare form of Alzheimer's disease ("an 'embuggerance', as he called it"). We lost a brilliant author, not only in his unique humor, but in his observations about the world and human nature. His passing was announced to the world in a series of three tweets from his daughter, Rhianna, and is the title of this piece. His depiction of Death as a character influenced a couple of my Sketchfest pieces: http://www.ellenmilliongraphics.com/sketchfest/sketchfestart.php?id=485 And http://www.ellenmilliongraphics.com/sketchfest/sketchfestart.php?id=1428 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2991774/Fantasy-author-Terry-Pratchett-dies-aged-66-long-battle-Alzheimer-s-disease.html
