 | Sunrise cloud rattleby mikkaPrompt: A breath of fresh air This is a finished version of a sketch!
Light stoneware with royal blue and rhodes white glazes. The pink blush is a firing gift -- it was likely near a piece with a copper-based glaze, some of which volatilized and landed on this piece. The other side has glaze in the lines, but the white glaze was wiped off so it wouldn't stick to the kiln shelf -- which it tried anyway, so there's an odd scar where I sanded off some kiln wash. The edge is rather irregular. It contains small clay balls so that it rattles, with a light rattle/jingle noise. More/better photos on request. |

mikka replied to this: Not lost in the mail, lost on my desk. I apologize. I got it out to mail, put something down in front of it, and totally spaced.
