This is nowhere near done, and covered in fingerprints I'm going to need to clean up, but hopefully the idea comes across. Once I'd started adding the stars, it looked like a star-bellied sneetch egg to me. Light stoneware with teal blue slip, hollow with little balls inside to rattle. I'm tentatively planning to glaze the stars yellow, if I can figure out how to support it in the kiln. |
